The Kent Bat Group (KBG) was formed in 1983 to help conserve the county's bats. We aim to promote awareness of bats, and take action to conserve them. We are a registered charity (No 1079767).
We hold indoor meetings during the winter (we are pretty busy doing bat walks and surveys in the summer) usually at Lenham Community Centre, near Maidstone. This is a spacious and well-appointed hall with plenty of parking. Take a look at the What’s On page for details of the 2016 events.
Members of the KBG make an annual donation towards bat conservation in Kent and contribute effort and skills to monitor and protect these often unnoticed animals.
Members receive a newsletter 4 times a year either by post or email to keep up-to-date on what's happening the bat world. Here is our January 2016 newsletter.
